Coyle Water Fishery

Approach Loch, Straiton

Approach Loch offers excellent Trout Fishing. Facilities by the loch include a Sauna Cabin and Barbecues are available for groups by arrangement.

Springwater Fishery, Dalrymple

Springwater Fishery is a complex of three freshwater lochs set amongst delightful Ayrshire farmland, in a peaceful location, only 4 miles from Ayr consisting of three lochs within a total area of 20 acres. The principal fishing water is the Fly Loch which is 6 acres, and includes three islands, all of which are accessible by bridges. The trout fishery is stocked with fish ranging in weight from 2lbs up to 15lb consisting of rainbow, steelhead, blues and brown trout all brought on in the Springwater rearing ponds and there is also a 4 acre Bait Loch which contains fish from 1lb upwards. Mochrum Loch

Mochrum Fishing Club consists of 40 members who fish Mochrum Loch which is near Maybole, Ayrshire. The loch covers an area of 24 acres and is stocked with both Brown, Blue and Rainbow trout. The loch is open 7 days a week with the exception of competition days which are the first Sundays in each month. There are boat facilities for disabled anglers. The boat is fitted to take wheelchairs and is powered by an electric outboard motor. Permits to fish the loch can be obtained from:- The Station Store at Maybole Railway station.

Pinbraid Fishery, Garnaburn Colmonell, Near Girvan

A 9 acre loch full of good fighting rainbow trout up to around 20lb and some good brown trout, on site there is a great little cafe serving hot and cold drinks and food, toilets, boat and rod hire available also lessons for the less competent.
