The Ranch hosts one of the finest leisure centres in the
area. Its facilities are available to visitors at the
modest charge of £5 per family (two adults & two children) per day. This day
ticket entitles visitors to unlimited access to the facilities
which comprise swimming pool, sauna, television and modern fitness suite. In keeping with the rest
of the Park the shower and toilet facilities within the Leisure
Centre are of a particularly high standard. Light
refreshments such as tea, coffee, soft drinks, confectionary
and ice cream are also available and are served by the poolside.
Visitors are asked not to smoke in the Leisure Centre.
A member of staff will be available at all times to help or
advise you.
The Leisure Centre is open from 8.30-12am and 5-9pm Monday to Saturday, 8.30-5pm Sunday.
Swimming Pool
The main attraction of our Leisure Centre is the indoor pool
which is heated to 90oF. It is 54 feet long
and 4 feet deep with a level bottom. It features underwater
lighting, is themed with world flags and decorated with hanging
baskets. The Pool is closed to children after 7 pm to
allow adults some quiet time to themselves.
Fitness Suite*
The Fitness Suite has much of
the computerised equipment expected of a high quality gym
including the rowing machine with video display, exercise
bike, stair climber, treadmill and free weights.
Sauna*
The Centre offers the token operated sauna facilities which are very popular with visitors providing the opportunity to enjoy their benefits before or after a swim.
Sun Bed*
We also have a stand up sun bed.
